Need to use deleted blog URL again

  Hi. I’ve created blog and deleted it. I have another blog on the same account and I’d like to change its URL to the one that had been deleted. But there’s message like ‘that site has already been used’ when I try to change URL. I read that URL can be available again. I’d like it now. Are there any solutions for that? Thanks.

  Howdy seioffe!

  The answer to this question will depend on the type of blog you’re trying to reach.

  If the domain you’re trying to use is a domain.wordpress.com type of domain, you will not be able to get it back once deleted. The URL CAN be available again once it’s recycled; however, they only recycle URLs once every few years.

  If the domain you’re trying to use is one you have purchased and then deleted, you may have to repurchase it or remap it to WordPress.com

  It’s .wordpress.com type of domain. No problem then. And do you know whether comments on this forum are visible on search?
