Need Widget Help in Unsleepable Theme Please!
-
I simply added the widgets links and search on the kubrick theme but when I changed the theme to unsleepable they disappeared from the page. I checked the widget settings and it seems like they should still be up because the “add” option is gone from those two widgets. What do i do?

Try logging out, clearing your browser cache and then logging back in. Since both themes are two-column, they should both still be there on your blog. In the widget page, click on the “save changes” button at the bottom of the current widgets column. That usually straightens out the list of current widgets.

Try clicking the Save Changes button on the Widgets screen. There is a bug that comes up sometimes when you switch themes.

okay I tried to Save Changes ..that doesn’t work. I added the categories widget and that worked but I’m unable to add the search and link widgets that I want because the “add” button for them is gone.

Haha okay I just solved my own question. For anybody out there who has trouble with this just switch back to your previous theme and remove all your widgets. Make sure you save changes. Then switch to your desired theme and you should be able to properly add them.
Thanks everybody else for the advice

@ jcl10 – that’s the answer! Thank you. Staff should sticky this resolution not only for Unsleepable which I was having the same problem with but as a basic answer on any theme switch. Again, thank you.
