Need WP Content Folder and Back Up of Database

  Hello,

  I am trying to move from wordpress.com to .org using GoDaddy, and I was told I need the following things:
  – WP Content Folder
  – Back Up of Database as SQL Folder

  Please let me know how I can acquire these things.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can’t – Godaddy should know better by now

  You can export your site – Dashboard >> Tools >> Export

  Then import to your WordPress.ORG install on wherever you are hosted – the changes to the theme will not transfer but the content will including the media if you click the right box on import to move the media –

  not transferred will be media that is not used on a Post or Page or Widget

  Thanks for your response. Should I try to “return” the GoDaddy WordPress Hosting that I purchased, or can they still host but I have to start from scratch?
