Need WP files & databases

  Hey, I have no idea how to get my WP files and Database. Can someone help me extract them so I can pass them onto my host.

  I tried to follow this tutorial, https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress, but I have no idea what to do or where to start. I dont know if I need software to do so etc.

  Hi,

  On WordPress.com, you don’t have access to that. Access to WP files and the database are only available on self-hosted installs.

  On WordPress.com sites, you can do an export to an xml file. This guide will walk you through what you need to do to move from .COM to self-hosted .ORG site.
