Needed: A Glossary of Special Terms

  • Unknown's avatar

For the older person, using WordPress can be a perplexing experience. There are many unfamiliar terms that one must guess at and then take the chance that clicking on it won’t do something unintended. In short, it would be helpful to have a WordPress Glossary of special terms for reference. Also, your videos, e.g. on using ‘Blocks’ are spoken too quickly and the images change too fast. This is fine for ‘twenty-somethings’ but not for most 77 year old people.

    Hi,

I do know of at least one place on wordpress.com of a glossary that you might find useful.
    https://wordpress.com/learn/glossary/

If you have not already you might want to read through this
https://wordpress.com/learn/ it gives a lot of information about how to use WordPress including the glossary that was my first link.

Here is where you can find more information about using blocks that might be helpful for you.

One nice thing about videos is you can rewind and pause them and watch them over and over if you need to do so.

If you need more help please ask.
