needing advice on syndicated view stats

  I have not posted to my metalogger blog for a few months, but it has had a steady small trickle of daily hits over that time nonetheless.

  But 2 days ago I resumed posting to it, and this morning I see my recent posts have got only one or two actual “hits”, but the syndicated views stats are way over 100!!!

  What is going on? Have 150 plus people really looked at my new post on their rss feed? Or is there some technical quirk here trying to trick me?

  and if someone clicks on their rss feed more than once will that be counted in the syndicated stats too?

  Not sure.

  But what you’re seeing is all the people who used to be subscribed to it noticing that it’s alive again. I think that’s all. Do you remember how many feed readers you had before?
