Needing Information for Fundraising??

    I’m completely blog-stupid, but I’m setting up a blogsite for a friend of mine who recently lost everything in a housefire. I’m wanting to set it up to where people can donate to help them out. Is that possible using WordPress.com? Is it even legal to request monetary assistance through a blog online? If so, how would I go about it? Would I set up a paypal account and put a link on my blog? Any information would be helpful.

    WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce transctions. The best you can do is use a Paypal Donation button. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
