Needing option for domain redirection / transfer

    “Find the section titled Domain Administration, and then choose Transfer ownership to another registrar from the drop down menu below it.” This option is not available to me in my dashboard.

    I’m trying to edit A records to route my registered domain to a different service. The DNS system did not allow me to redirect the main domain (only subdomains)

    Best option: You guys can update the A records: Edit the A Record for “@” and point it to 64.207.128.132 Edit the A Record for “www” and point it to 64.207.128.132

    Other option: You guys can’t update the A records. I must transfer the domain to another registrar / managing service, then route it myself: Give me a direct link to the “Transfer ownership to another registrar” function (not seeing it currently in my dashboard=>store=>domains), or please initiate the transfer on my behalf if I cannot access it.

    Thank you for resolving this issue as soon a possible.

    Hi there,

    If you go to Store > Domains and then select your custom domain as your primary URL, you’ll see the domain administration drop-down box.

    Or am I missing what isn’t available to you?

    So, correct me if I am continuing to misunderstand, but are you transferring your domain, or redirecting your domain?

    Here is a screenshot, not seeing any option for “domain administration.” Our first priority is to redirect the domains A records to the above ip address. If this is unavailable through wordpress domain administration, then at least we need to unlock the domain in order to transfer it to another carrier.

    Hi there – I delved into this a little more, and it looks like your domain meredithrom.com is actually isn’t registered through WordPress.com. You’ll need to log into your control panel at your registrar to make the DNS updates you need:
