As it turns out, I cannot access the A Voice Reclaimed website or blog from the My Sites page either. Same result as above. I am led to an ad for flooring which does not allow the viewer to exit without closing down Firefox.

Hi Anna,
The issue was with your mapped domain, avoicereclaimed.com. For the moment, I’ve change your blog to have its primary domain be avoicereclaimed.org and your blog now loads fine.
While your Domain Mapping upgrade for avoicereclaimed.com is active here on WordPress.com. It appears that your domain registration expired, and its name servers changed, with the registrar where you purchased it:
http://who.is/whois/avoicereclaimed.com
You’ll need to renew your domain registration with Tucows for the domain to behave correctly again.
Best,

Is this something I can do through WordPress? I had originally purchased the registration through another website host. After I transitioned to WordPress I was informed by tech support here that the name was in order, and the original registration could lapse. I am particularly concerned not to list my home address as owner. Help!

Hi Anna,
When you purchase the domain elsewhere and map it here, as in the case with avoicereclaimed.com, both the registrar’s settings and the WordPress settings must be maintained.
Everything on the WordPress end is correct for that domain. To keep it active, you’ll need to renew it with the registrar where you purchased it. The records say that would be Tucows, but it may have also been a reseller of some kind. If you don’t recall where you purchased it, you may want to search your email archives receipts and the like.
If you choose not to renew it, I can also remove its mapping from WordPress and your site will then only be active on avoicereclaimed.org.
Let me know how you’d like to proceed.
Best,
-Alex G.

Thank you for the clarification. I truly appreciate your help, as I am technologically challenged (sigh). I have managed to renew and reinstate with the original registrar Homestead (Tucows). Whew! Thanks again. You were a real life saver.

Hi Anna,
Sorry it’s a bit confusing! Glad you were able to get that worked out on the registrar end, and I happy I could play my part. :)
I changed your site back to having a primary domain of avoicereclaimed.com now that it’s active again.
Best,
-Alex G.
