Neither the Website or the WordPress Dashboard will load after updating plugins

    Error I am receiving:

    ‘Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/18/10222618/html/wp-content/plugins/sydney-toolbox/sydney-toolbox.php on line 100’

    I believe the error is from an update to a theme called Sydney that I am currently using on our website. I am unable to go into the dashboard to edit, format or even restore my WordPress site from a previous backup. What are my options now?

    Hi there, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.

    For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate, so if you do not already have an account at WordPress.org, you will need to register.

    I took a quick look at your site and it is coming up fine for me, so I assume you have gotten this issue resolved.
