Nested Pages not displaying

    Hello. I have a page called lyrics on my blog. Within the lyrics page I have two nested pages for the lyrics from separate records, but neither of them display. I can access the pages through my dashboard, so I know that they are on my site.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there,
    The theme you chose does not have dropdown menus to “child” pages. Many themes do not display static Page tabs in the horizontal navigation menu. Many themes that do display Page tabs in the horizontal menu do not display sub-pages (child pages) in dropdowns from that menu or in the menu bar at all. When you choose a theme like the one you have up on your blog you need to place the Pages widget in your sidebar to provide access to your pages and sub-pages. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/

    Alternatively you may want to switch themes. If so then currently, the Bueno, Enterprise (2 dropdown levels – Top level – Pages & Sub-Pages – Bottom Level – 10 Categories & Sub-Categories) ), Greyzed, iNove, Inuit Types, Monochrome, Neutra, Notepad, Sandbox 1.6.1, Structure, Twenty Ten, Titan and Vostok themes are the only ones that have dropdowns to child pages from parent pages in the top horizontal menu.

    OOPS! Add Vigilance as well to the themes with dropdowns.

    Or you can switch to one of the very few themes that automatically create links to subpages on the parent itself – see here:

    Child pages: links displayed on parent or as dropdowns

    I use Vigilance and unless I’m missing something, it does not have dropdowns for sub-pages. I had to add the pages widget to my sidebar to get them to appear, which I really didn’t want to have to do, since it seemed redundant. So, I’ve had to then exclude the pages I didn’t want to appear in the sidebar.

    @spoonanshutter
    You aren’t missing anything Vigilance does not have dropdown menus from Parent Pages to subpages (child pages). Therefore we can use the Pages widget to display links so subpages (child pages) and exclude pages we don’t want to appear in the sidebar display just as you have described. :)
