Nesting ShortCodes

  I am trying to nest a Participants Database list (shortcode –> [pdb_list] ) INSIDE of a shortcode which makes the list only visible to logged in users of my site. I have seen reference to using do_shortcode() function, but I don’t understand the syntax in the example.

  In simplest terms this is what I want…

  [member] (<–this is a valid shortcode that works)
  [pdb_list] (<– this is the valid shortcode to generate the list)
  [/member]

  There are two different versions of WordPress.

  These forums only provide support for the WordPress.com version; it sounds like your site uses the self-hosted version from WordPress.org.
