Nesting sub-pages under page headers at top of main page.
-
I searched through the threads and couldn’t find this exact issue I’m having inChaos Theory, I’ve got a blog with 6 pages reefered along the top of the page. How do I nest sub pages under these “parented” headings? I’ve tried and I can’t get the sub-paged joined to theses parent headers. What am I doing wrong? For example, I’d like to create a “Tools” page and put “Carry-Over Log” (now listed on the main header) as a sub page. I’d like to create an “Advice” header on that main bar and nest sub-pages.Thanks for the help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You are not doing anything wrong, it’s just not possible. The only theme that displays child pages(or categories) with their parents is INove. In fact, child pages are meant to be hidden form the navbar, not meant to be visible.

Is it possible this blog http://choastheory.wordpress.com is the blog being referred to? If so then If so then there is a spelling error. It ought to be chaos not choas. -

HI newzho
As I noted, you will have to use a pages widget to show your child pages.
The only theme on WordPress.Com (currently) that has drop-down menus for pages is INove.Or you could add links on the parent pages to their child pages.
(And maybe one of the Sandbox themes, which you would have to buy an upgrade and use CSS to make it work. Note that you would need CSS knowledge to to that as there is not official support for it here in the forums)
