Network Error (tcp_error)

  I am trying to build up multiple authors for my blog, and one potential author is having trouble accessing Word Press. He gets this message whenever he tries to access my blog, or indeed any other Word Press blog:

  “Network Error (tcp_error)
  A communication error occurred: “Operation timed out”
  The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems
  preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a
  later time. For assistance, contact your network support team.”

  OK, this may be a local network or server issue, but it seems only to be happening for Word Press, not other blogs. It may be relevant that he is located in the Far East, where a Google search suggests that others there have had similar problems.

  Is there anything I can recommend to him?

  What do you define as Far East? If it’s Hong Kong or Singapore, it wouldn’t be the first time.
