Never had a blog before

  I am a business owner with a website already. My website comes with a page where I can link WordPress posts to. But I don’t understand what WordPress domains are. Is it an additional domain that I need to own for just my blog? I simply just want to be able to write blog posts that I can put on my website for clients to read. Please tell me how this all works!

  A domain is an address people use to visit your site. It tells the web browser where to look for your site. Just like a street address, a domain is how people visit your website online. And, like having a sign in front of your store, a custom domain name helps give your site a professional look.

  Your WordPress.com site comes with a free address using a WordPress.com subdomain, like example.wordpress.com. You can get rid of the .wordpress.com part and use a custom domain name instead, like yourgroovydomain.com.
