Never had a WordPress acct but my credit card is being charged

In January 2023 my company credit card was charged 3 times by WordPress. Our company has never used nor had any accounts with WordPress. I created an account in order to post this message. I have emailed help@wordpress.com with the specific charge reference #’s listed on the credit card statement. I’m trying to get someone at WordPress to send me the invoices to determine if the charges are fraudulent.

If the info you have is not a match for what we show in our system, then a contact form will appear that will allow you to send a direct message to our billing support team, and from there they will reach out to you directly via email.

Totoro – thanks for your note. I have filled out the form for each transaction. Each time the screen states “Found it!” with a link to “View your receipt.” But because I do not have access to the “account” this charge is associated with, when I click view receipt the next screen says “No receipts found.”

It does sound like the receipts are associated with a different WordPress.com account than the one you’re logged in on, and therefore associated with a different email address too.
