Nevermind my last question on another account, now I have issues logging in with this email.

    So I sent in a question using the other account I created using my (email visible only to moderators and staff) email, and I was confused as to why it wouldn’t just give me Dazreiello.wordpress.com but now I discovered I had an older account that had that name reserved and I logged into it, changed my emails around. The previous account I asked the question on is now (email visible only to moderators and staff) while I changed this one to (email visible only to moderators and staff), but now when I try to log in using google and selecting (email visible only to moderators and staff) it sends me to the (now) (email visible only to moderators and staff) account. Is there any way to correct this?

    Hi,

    That might be a browser cookies/cache issue. Can you try logging in with an incognito/private browser window (or a different browser) and let us know if you have the same issue?

    I tried incognito mode and another browser entirely but it still brings me back to the other account (@dazreielloec91e4d144) rather than logging me into @Dazreiello

    Hmmm, perhaps we’re a bit confused here.

    You are currently logged in as dazreiello you can see that username to the left of your reply above.

    Specifically, what username are you trying to log in as, and what username or email address do you use when you try?

    I am currently logged into the correct Dazreiello account. But when I try to use My google account to log in, as opposed to entering my username and password manually on this site itself, it logs me into the previous Dazreiello I created because I didnt know THIS account existed. I forgot I made it long ago.

    I changed my email so that THIS account has the google account as its email. So this email changed from dekaisen@yahoo to dazreiello@gmail. But now when I try to log in using Dazreiello@gmail when selecting log in with google, it brings me back to the newer false account… hmm I hope any of this made sense.

    The Google account authorization token was issued to the other account, so you need to remove it from the dazreielloec91e4d144 account in order to use it for your dazreiello account.

    Log in as dazreielloec91e4d144 and visit this page to remove the Google login for your (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address:

    https://wordpress.com/me/security/social-login

    Then, log back out and log back into dazreiello using your username and password. Then visit that same page and establish the Google connection for your email address.

    Until you do that, the “login with Google” option will take you to the dazreielloec91e4d144 account.
