I need help getting to my website. When I try to setup, it’s not accepting my credentials. I purchased this account and paid thru PayPal. I started to setup my account, but my computer crashed now I can’t get back to the website I was trying to setup. I thought I used email (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff), but I never received anything but the PayPal receipt and an email from Word Press in (email visible only to moderators and staff) saying my my account is ready. and recovery is saying my website is already used. too confusing.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Unknown

Hi @deborahsinspirations, can you go to this page?
    https://wordpress.com/me/account

If the email address there does not match the email address we sent the “your account is ready” message to, can you please log out, then log back in with that email address? You should have access as soon as you are logged into the correct account.

Thank you – I finally figured it out.

It looks like I messed up really bad. My receipt shows an email account that I’ve closed out. Is there anyway to change the email for the billing, login and the new website?

Hi there, I’m not exactly sure I understand. You hold both accounts in this conversation? If your email address is in use under another account, you can close that account, then wait 30 days (our grace period for closed accounts) at which point we will purge it from our system.

You will then be free to use the email address for your current account, which you can update here: lhttps://wordpress.com/me/account/

If you are able to log in to both accounts, you can also change the address of one account, to “free up” the one it is using currently. Once you finalize the email address change for that account, you are free to use the previous email for any other account you wish.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Sorry for the confusion. This would be so much easier to talk thru instead of using email.

I want to use for the like email and website I recently purchased. During that purchase, I didn’t realize I was still in my old account, which is the account I thought I had closed. If I close that now, I close my website. I don’t want to close my new website. I logged out of the old email account, but when logging into the new email, the system doesn’t recognize the new site I purchased. I need to know if/how I can change my new website from my old email to to my new email without closing/waiting 30 days to use my website. Is that possible?
I really need to stop using the old email because I won’t get any correspondence sent there.

We don’t have phone support, but I’m sure we can get you sorted through the public support forums.

Since you’re clearly able to log into both deborahsinspirations and avirtualtouch, the easiest option would be to transfer the deborahsinspirations.com site and upgrades from avirtualtouch to deborahsinspirations. You can do so by going to your My Blogs page and following the steps here :

    https://wordpress.com/support/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

Once you transfer the site to the correct account, you can then choose to close the old one.

Let us know if you have any questions!
