I set up a plan for a friend, but the email account I used has been blocked and I cannot recover it. So I have followed all the instructions for account recovery and contacted my bank to get their transaction ID so I could verify the payment I made. But the Account Recovery Form wont submit, it just refreshes… so I have no idea if my request has gone through, or the transaction ID is correct… The only solution I can think of is reporting the payment as fraudulent but that’s a last resort. I have paid £100.80 but have no way of accessing what I paid for.

Reporting the payment as fraudulent is the baddest thing to do as that payment isn’t fraudulent. Also you would block everything for at least 80 days and you would have to pay a 15 USD fee to wordpress.com – https://wordpress.com/support/payment/chargebacks/

As well as going through the account recovery as suggested by @staartmees have you considered logging in with username (perhaps simondredgeceramics ??) and password? I assume you wrote the password down?

I have completed this form but I dont get any acknowledgement. I entered the transaction ID that my bank gave me but nothing sems to work.

Did you try the solution themagicrobot gave you above? Or log in with the email address where you did receive the email(s) about your purchase.
