New Account and Site Address

  I created a WordPress account, and created a website on it. I then deleted the account because I had made several mistakes in the setup, and decided that deleting and recreating would be better. I now cannot create an account with that email, nor can I log in.

  So I created an account with another email I have. I tried setting up a site with the same address as the previous one on the previous account, figuring it would have been deleted with my account, but it isn’t available. I can’t use the email I want to, nor can I get the site address I wanted because it has supposedly been taken by this deleted ghost account.

  Help? I ideally would like to get my old account back, but barring that, I would at least like to be able to use the website address.

  Can you please mention the old account username and your site URL on that account?

  I can’t remember the old account username, but I remember the email associated with it. I’d rather not post that on a public forum though.
  The URL for the site is “qcctheatre.wordpress.com”

  Thanks for mentioning the site URL it will help staff to look into the matter as soon as they will reach this thread. Please wait for some time any one from staff will get you back.

  @uhhsiris you can go ahead and post that email address here normally and our forum software will redact it from public view like this (email visible only to moderators and staff) but Staff will still be able to see it.

  Ah OK. The email is (email visible only to moderators and staff), however one thing I have realised is that that email address has been changed since then, but is aliased to the new one.

  Please reply to the account closure email we have sent to that email address so we can restore your account.
