New account, having weird functionality issues

Hi,
I am an editor with InStyle.com, and we use WordPress to host our blog: http://news.instyle.com/
I am listed as an admin for the blog, but my account does not look like every other editor’s here. My functionality is limited (I cannot schedule posts, switch between WYSIWYG and HTML, attach galleries, and a whole bunch of other basic functionalities. We tried logging in from various browsers (Safari, Chrome and Firefox) but that did not fix the problem. Other users whose access looks normal on their computers tried logging in on my computer but had the same problem. Our tech team here tells me it isn’t an issue with my computer. I am happy to send screenshots if you’d like them. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

I posted to that forum and they redirected me back here. The issue I’m having needs to be addressed, but no one seems to be able to point me in the right direction.

There is no WordPress.com Admin bar at the top of that blog.
There is no hosted by WordPress.com credit link in the footer of that blog.
The theme on the blog is not found among the only theme we free hosted WordPress.com bloggers can use here http://wordpress.com/themes/Is that blog a VIP hosted site?

Potentially, but that isn’t clear from backend access. Is there a support forum there I can head to?

Suddenly there is now a WordPress.COM admin bar on the top of that blog that’s coming and going. How that happened and why it is happening is beyond me as we are not allowed to remove that Admin bar or the footer credit links from any free hosted WordPress.com blog.

That is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We do not provide support at WordPress.COM for any installs of WordPress.ORG software. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-in and different versions of themes with same names.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
