New account never received an authentication email and unable to login.

Hi,
We recently created a site with WordPress.com and after being requested to log in again, we found that our email was no longer associated with the site and no log in details would work. We never received an authentication email during setup.
The site has not been launched.
We are unable to use the account recovery post due to the authentication email not being sent.
For privacy reasons, we would prefer not to post the email and site on the forum. We have had to create a new account to submit this post but the email associated with this post is a preferred method of contact. -
