New account, same email address

  Hello,

  I would like to close the account ‘4boysinashithouse’ under the emaila ddress (email visible only to moderators and staff), so that I can open another account using that address. We have never used this account… so it’s time to shut it down. When we get to the point of using an account for that purpose, we will use a business email. Please get back to me with a solution ASAP.

  Hi there,

  You don’t need to close your WordPress.com account to change your email, and it is highly recommended that you don’t. If you really wish to close your account, please follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/

  However, you can just change your email: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

  Instead of closing your account I’d recommend updating your username in your settings. To do this head over to https://wordpress.com/me/account
