New Account Verification Email fails

  Trying to get new account verification email at the email account specified in original setup but it does not show up in inbox, spam, trash, etc. Have re-sent several times and no email shows up after it is confirmed as sent by wordpress.

  Did you use the correct email? You can check it at account settings. If the email is incorrect, update it and click the Save Account Settings button. There’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address.

  If that’s not the problem, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.

  Verification emails are showing up in another email account, that is used on this computer, that is not listed in account settings. WordPress spyware is apparently ignoring email in settings and using email address it is finding on my computer. NOT GOOD !

  @tourshopfresno, we don’t have spyware.

  As staff, I can see your email address on file, though, and I could look up the other address to see if there’s another account. If you’d like, I can contact you via email to find out both addresses and sort this out. Let us know if that would be OK.
