New Activiation – HELP
-
Hi there!
I have a client that created a new WordPress account as she wants to set up a couple of blogs. Unfortunately when she registered she just register for a username and not a blog. Now when we log in she is taken to a “global dashboard”.
How do we upgrade or create new blogs from this point?
Any help or direction in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
Thx!

When the client is logged in to wordpress just go to the main page http://wordpress.com and they should see something like ‘get a new blog’ under their username towards the right side of the page.

Thanks guys!
Is there a way to delete this “global dashboard” and just have the two blogs she sets up?
Thanks again for your quick replies.

One question before answering that one. Is she the administrator/editor/author/contributor of the blogs? If so then the global dashboard will change to the normal dashboard with the “My Dashboards” drop down to access the inner working of her blogs. This sometimes takes time due to server caching and if it persists then I would send in a feedback to the support team and ask for their backend help to get it straightened up. Send in the user name and blog names.
[edit: there should also be a drop down from the global dashboard words with the other blogs listed and this will link to their respective blogs]
