new admin email not confirmed even after due action. please help

  I have changed my old email-id(which is used for admin purposes) with a new one. Even after doing the same, all comments of my visitors are appearing on my earlier e-mail id when it they are supposed to appear on the new one. I have confirmed the change my clicking the specified link. Still facing the problem. Please help
