New Administrator

    Administrator is not accessible and we must replace her. I am a contributor and need to be the new administrator. However, must be done without current administrator doing it.

    Hi there,

    Of what site are you speaking? I only one site in your account, floridaearth.wordpress.com, and you’re already an admin on that site.

    Only an existing admin on a site can invite new users or change the role of an existing user. And only the current owner of a site can transfer ownership of the site to someone else. We cannot do either of these things at the request of a different user on the site.

    The user role of the site owner cannot be changed, and the site owner cannot be removed from the site by another admin.
