New (again!) dropdown comments list

  ‘Scuse me for complaining (again!) but my dropdown comments (the dropdown from the admin bar) just changed and now I can’t tell which ones I’ve read and responded to and which ones are new. I don’t need a list of ALL of them back to the Year One. I just need to see the new ones. Please stop with all the needless, worse-than-useless changes!

  I’d like to add that if we want to see all our comments, we already have a complete list in our Dashboards. There’s absolutely no reason for old ones to appear in the dropdown list. And providing a way to trash each one after we’ve seen it doesn’t help get rid of the hundreds of old ones now populating the list. If you must do this, at least include a delete at the top of the list that will delete all the old ones with one click.
