New and old WordPress Dashboard layout.
-
When I edit my post, WordPress has been “flipping” me between the old dashboard layout and new layout. Why is this happening? I find the new dashboard layout annoying and I want to use the old layout. How can I do that? Is there an updated version which I missed out to update?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Over a month ago Staff removed the classic editor link in the new editor and they notified us then that it would not be restored.
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-reinstate-the-option-of-choice-to-use-the-old-publishing-format/page/32?replies=943#post-2338964You do not have to use the new editor to create or edit post or pages and you do not have to use the new stats pages either. You can use the classic ones instead. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface

Though WordPress stopped the “edit” link on each post working- it linked to the worthless beep-boop editor, rather than the good edit screen: there is a hack to get round this: https://tpenguinltg.wordpress.com/2015/03/14/a-hack-to-use-the-classic-editor-in-wordpress-com/

@clareflourish
That and all workarounds are already included in the post I linked to http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
