new authors overriding current one.
-
Hey everyone,
I’m not sure what is going here, I’m wanting to have author pages on my blog so I used this
<?php the_author_posts_link(); ?>– Worked fine. But, I realised I had better test it with multiple authors so I went to the dashboard>users>add new and created a new author. I tested this author with a sample post, a basic hello world. When I refreshed the homepage I was mortified to discover that every posts author name and excerpt were now all the same as the one I just created.Any ideas how to fix this?

Then it qualifies as a “self-hosted WordPress” blog, so you should be asking on the WordPress.ORG forums instead: http://wordpress.org/support
