New BBB thread as requested – Blockquotes and italics

  Hi.

  Here’s an issue I reported on the original thread. One staff member was able to reproduce it, but another requested a new post, so here goes.

  I use blockquote indentation a lot for ordinary text. In the new editor, it automatically converts to italics, even when editing in visual mode. The italics won’t show up in the published result, however.

  So I am having to do everything in reverse when editing! I have to italicise when I was regular text and de-italicise to get italics. Could that be normalised?
