new block editor

    Hi there.
    I remember receiving and reading a recent email about Block editor and opting to stay with the former way of composing blogs. I thought I saved that, ut can’t find it. I simply don’t want to change to this new block editor option I want to stay with the way I know. I can’t figure out how to revert to that. I tried posting with this block editor program and will lose the rest of my hair if I have todo that again. Please assist me. Thanks.

    A Staff member gave a very clear answer in another thread regarding the editor.

    It is no longer possible to set the classic editor as default on WordPress.com. The block editor, which has been the default editor for the open source WordPress software since version 5.0 was released in December 2018, is now also the default editor for all sites on WordPress.com.
