New block editor just made using WP much more difficult

  Before the new block editor using the WP was easy and logic. The block editor has made it much more difficult, messy and added new steps/clicks in order to get your content published on a website. It’s unclear to me why such a change in the editor has been made.

  I guess the world moves on. My first car didn’t even have seat belts let alone lane assistance technology. Like lots of software the Block editor gives you a (daunting) million options but you still only need to use the bits that suit you.
