New Block layout WP Kale pages

    Please help – all of a sudden in the last month or so – I suppose with some update the layout of my pages has change drastically, not on the actual site but on the wp-admin. The pages are totally different and it talks about block layout. It shows none of the page like I used to see it the layout is totally different and I cannot see the layout.

    What is this, is it a WP update update. Please help. I can send a screen shot but on this forum there is no option to send a picture. I have 4 sites and the others are the same – what is this new update. I cannot use it, is it very un-user friendly!!!!!!

    Hi there,

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    What you’re referring to is the block editor that was introduced as the new editor in WordPress 5.0 in December last year. This editor has been in development for two years, and has been available for testing since the middle of last year.

    If you’re using the WordPress software at another host, you can post for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

    You can also disable the block editor on your self-hosted site by installing the Classic Editor plugin:
