New blocks?

    So every single time I hit return, even I’m just writing text, it makes a new block? So every individual paragraph is also its each individual block? If this is the case, it’s completely idiotic and counterproductive for people who just want to, you know, write. If I’m incorrect on this, please understand why I’m incorrect. I really wish it didn’t cost $25 a month to revert to a system I knew and liked and opt out of a new system I do not want and did not ask for. The new system has a bucketload of new bells and whistles, but I don’t want bells and whistles. I want to write text and insert photos. That’s it. I don’t want green drop caps in fancy script, I don’t want to input videos, I don’t want photos whose eyes follow you wherever you go like a Scooby Doo episode. And I hope that last one is hyperbole, because if a blog had moving eyes, then you might as well send the T-1000 through the time tunnel now to finish me off.
