New Blocks editor is ruining the email format
-
Now that I am using the new blocks formatting for my blog, the email version that goes to my readers is a mess. The photos are not in line with the text which makes the entire post difficult to follow.
Why are photos not aligning to the right or left of text as set up in the blog?
I spend a lot of time on the layout of the blog and am very unhappy that my most important readers, who are my followers, are getting an inferior experience. Did no one at WordPress check this out before roll out?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @ knittingnuances, can you link us to a post that gave you trouble?

I want to note, “floating” a photo to the left or right of some text will not necessarily align it with that text. How that turns out depends on how wide your screen is.
But if you need to keep images and text together, there is a column block you can use, or you can use the image caption.

Yes, I used that and still the newsletter does not format properly.
Here is the blog post link.

There are 2 nice small photos (pink coat) with the photo/media block and the text to the side. . In the newsletter there are two HUGE photos with the pink coat that are completely out of proportion and the words go all the way across.
It looks ridiculous. I can send a picture but I don’t know how to do so here. -
This does not seem to be using the “columns” block though. It’s using the media and text block. They treat the content differently.
Can you try the columns block instead if the text and media needs to line up?
