  Hello. When I try to create a new blog and choose a name it just thinks and the gear keeps spinning. Then If I log out of my wordpress account, and have it search it finds the name so I know it’s available. Any idea why it’s doing this.

  Hello there,

  That’s strange. Time outs like that can sometimes be caused by glitches in your network connection.

  Could you try one more time, and let me know if it works? Try Firefox, if Chrome is disagreeable. If things don’t go smoothly, let me know the blog name you were hoping to start and I can look into this further for you.
