  I’d like to open a new blog, but since the topics will be very different from the first blog, I wish my new readers couldn’t connect to my older blog. Is it possible to have two separate usernames for two blogs? Is there any way to keep one of the two blogs “secret”?

  If you create a new blog, it won’t be shown “publicly” that it’s connected to your original blog (just because it’s created with the same username). So from the outside, on the surface it will look like a completely independent blog. There may be some details that will give away that it’s done by the same user, so if you really want to keep that hidden, you should just create a whole new useraccount and create the new blog with that.

  Every blog can be made “secret” by changing its visibility settings (under the Reading menu) to “I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose“.
