  Hi all – wanted to set up another blog apart from my existing blog. Seems I was logged in though so the new blog shows ‘Posted by Old Blog Name’). Yikes! Is there a way to change the default ‘Posted by’ or separate the new blog from the original? Thanks in advance!

  Separate accounts – Separate blogs

  1. You log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies, and then without logging in again, you register another username account under a different email address.
  2. You log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and log in under the old username account.
  3. Add the new username account as an Admin https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/ to the blog you want to transfer to it.
  4. Lastly, you transfer the blog to the new username account. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
