Sure, you could use Paste as Plain Text, as outlined here:
Note this currently uses the Classic editor.
You might also be able to paste plain text using your browser, with ctrl+shift+v.

A custom domain name? Usually things like brand recognition, ability to use other services with it (like email), and should you ever decide to change platforms, you won’t have to change site addresses. Read more here:
