New Blog Can’t get dashboard

  So I’ll try again.

  Now I’m at work and having the same problem on my work mac and PC. Here is my original message:

  I just registered for a new blog ((email visible only to moderators and staff)), got the email with activation link. When clicked, I got a page saying the email was already used (impossible). i then refresh the page and it then said my blog was ready to use and to check my email for a password – it never came, so I used the password rest and did get a new password email.

  Now when I log in i can’t get to te admin section. Every link in the top bar as well as typing in http://chonk.wordpress.com/wp-admin takes my to the http://www.wordpress.com page.

  I am on a mac and have tried using FF 0.9, safari 2.04 and IE 5.2. i will go and DL the new FF and Opera and try those, but don’t think its the problem

  I see no sticky and it’s still not working.

  And did you send in feedback as was suggested by TimeThief?

  For info, I can’t see the sticky thread either. For the most part, us mere mortal helpers on the forum are volunteers just like yourself.

  This means that we don’t have access to the “backend” of the system and the best way to get get support on an issue such as this is to send feedback or Contact Support

  I am having the same problem. Anything that points to my blog is redirected to the WordPress home page.

  Yeah so do I. Unfortunately that isn’t what it looks like. There is a different theme and a post on it, but I can’t access the dashboard to do anything. It just refreshes to wordpress.com.

  OK, I’m lost. Are you talking about a different blog maybe? I’m guessing so since you mention that there’s a post.
