New blog name form – wrongly stating it is 'taken'

Hi there
I was completing the form to set up a new blog. I found a blog name that was available, and proceeded to enter information.
The next page failed to load properly, so I pressed F5, and it took me back to the beginning.
I then went to re-enter the information on page 1, and as I did, it told me the blog name is taken. Taken by me I suppose? The name was available a moment ago, and now it is gone. I tried to see if perhaps the blog was registered under my profile – despite the page crash – but it is not.
So somewhere in the system, that blog name is now determined as being taken, because I registered it – but because the pages didn’t load properly, I couldn’t complete the process.
Is there a time frame in which the blog name will refresh and become available?

No there is not as blog URLs are not recycled here at all. However, I have flagged this thread for Staff attention. They will need details such as what the blog URL is that you tried to register.

Hi, I have just checked my dashboard, and the missing blog has now appeared. There must have been a hefty delay probably caused by the page crashing during the registration process.
All appears to be sorted now.
