new blog not working

I had a blog – Late Night Knits. Decided to start new blog – Black Purl Farm. Then decided I just wanted one blog (Black Purl Farm). I transferred all content from Late Night Knits over to Black Purl Farm successfully. Paid the $18 for BlackPurlFarm.com. Tried to change my Primary Blog designation to Black Purl Farm, but WP insists my Primary Blog is “My Blog”. What is My Blog? I never started that one. I tried to delete My Blog, but it told me if I delete it I will be deleteing Black Purl Farm. Huh? They are two separate blogs. So I tried to access BlackPurlFarm.com from a few different computers to see whay would happen. Every time I type in the URL it switches it to Late Night Knits and takes me there. I deleted all content from Late Night Knits and blocked access to it, but whever I type in BlackPurlFarm.com it takes me to Late Night Knits. I tried to delete Late Night Knits but it won’t let me since I paid for the domain name.
How can I close Late Night Knits (or at least make it inaccessible) and get Black Purl Farm to work?

Well, kinda. I registered BlackPurlFarm.com, but BlackPurlFarmdotcom.com keeps popping up. Are they the same?
BlackPurlFarm.com is the only blog I want.
