New blog post created with app defaults to classic editor

  Good morning everyone.

  If I create a new post with the mac wordpress app, it goes to the classic editor.

  Is there a way to make it with Gutemberg?

  Do you mean it goes to the Dashboard?

  If so, that is a known issue: https://github.com/Automattic/wp-calypso/issues/48840

  But, as long as you don’t have the Classic Editor plugin installed and active on your site, you’ll still be using Gutenberg there. :)

  Is that problem fixed?

  In another machine of mine it still goes to the dashboard.

  Wordpress app version: 6.8.0.

  Since I don’t see any comments under that GitHub issue, it doesn’t look like there’s a ready fix, so changing to the beta wouldn’t help. Feel free to subscribe yourself to the report here so you get notified of any updates.
