New blog, problems with reservation

For a university project, I am currently administrating a WordPress.com blog at “mtblistit.wordpress.com.”
However, since the name of the project has changed from “List it” to “Listid,”
I thought it would be best to create a new blog.

Since I did not know it was possible to have multiple blogs,
    I created a new username.
After registering “listid.wordpress.com,” I was asked to activate this account.
However, the email did not come through.

Upon discovering I was able to create a new blog (called “Listid”) with my “mtblistit”-username,
I wanted to register this new domain.
The issue now is that I get the error that “listid.wordpress.com is reserved:”
a reservation made by me, which is no longer necessary.

Could the reservation for “listid.wordpress.com” be cancelled,
so I can register it under my current username?

    Kind regards,
    Frederik De Bosschere

Check your spam filter for the activation email. They very often get caught there, since they’re automated.

My advice: Use the second account. ;)

However, since that email did not come through, how can I have it be sent again?

It probably DID go through, but was diverted to your spam file. Can you check your Spam email file for it?
