new blog question

  I want to start a blog, rather than continuing a monthly column I’ve written on our site for 3 years. I don’t want to wipe out the whole site, obviously. I want to use Cubic. I have our domain, and hosting is elsewhere. Do I sign up at WordPress ($99/yr) or do I just go through the hosting company, who offers WordPress as part of their hosting operation?

  Hi there,

  If you have bought a hosting service anywhere else, I think you need to contact your hosting service to run your new blog on WordPress.ORG.

  If you purchase the WordPress.COM Premium plan, you’re going to get the host service included, so your efforts in buying a web space with a hosting provide will be useless.
