New Blog – security issue?

  • Unknown's avatar

I created a new blog site yesterday, posted my first blog and launched. Today I’m getting this message when I try to log in: ‘This connection is not private. This website may be impersonating to steal your personal or financial information.’ I found an old word press account but when I try to find my new blog it’s not there. If I re-create it, I will have to add another year to my subscription. Anyone know how to fix this? (I posted my blog to my FB page and when I click on that link I can see my blog but my graphic is gone.) thebambooheart dot com

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

It appears that your website (thebambooheart.com) uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.

This seems to be an issue which I’d suggest speaking with your hosting provider about.

    Hope this gets fixed soon!
