New blog set up

I am attempting to help someone start a new blog and we get to the point where it says “you will get an email to continue set up” and the email never comes. I checked the spam folder too and it’s not there.
What does he do? His email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it. If it’s not there then please post the URL of the blog starting with http:// I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. -
If you cannot find the email, you can try changing the address to a different email for the signup process, confirming the account, and then changing the address back.
If this still doesn’t work, let me know and I can assist you further.

Thanks everyone. I ended up creating the blog myself and giving the other person admin privileges. Now I just gotta find a way to remove myself from the blog. it won’t let me edit it.
