New blog site not appearing in Google search

    I have started a new blog site Norbury Watch. It does not appear on the internet through Google search.. Is there something in the set-up procedure I have missed. I have tried various ways to remedy this problem with no effect. I am also having difficulty loading an image which is to be the banner image for the site. It is only putting it in as an image on the first posting. Further there is a line which states ‘This is the post excerpt’. I cannot delete it. Your advice on these matters would be welcome. Thanks.     Hey there seancreighton1947,

    WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites. Connecting a Google account with verified site ownership through Google’s search console may help register your site for inclusion. Please contact Google for more information.
