New blog stats
-
I hived off part of my blog to a new, single-subject, WP blog earlier today (http://ronsrantsbreadblog.wordpress.com ). Though it’s already showing in Google, no doubt due to its association with my main blog, the stats page is staying blank, despite my having got a friend to check out each post and the About page.
So, my question is, does anyone know how long it takes for stats to kick in with a new blog? It’s bee about 5 hours now. Thanks.
I’m reluctant to bother support unless there is actually a problem…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are others reporting some weirdness with stats, so perhaps staff is doing some tinkering in the back end. Even though the stats might not show, all hits I’m sure are being recorded and nothing will be lost.

Well, almost midnight and my main blog’s stats have picked up dramatically in the last couple of hours (actually, quite good for a Sunday, which is almost always slower than a weekday), but on my new blog, not a single hit, despite the fact that I know for sure there should be at least a dozen or so, including a couple that clicked through from the main to the new.
I know there are others here with the same complaint, but if it’s not resolved overnight (here, UTC), I think it’s time, reluctantly, to involve Support tomorrow.

Oh look, the stats have just clicked over, and there’s the absentees – all 49 of them. Not bad for the first day, and more than those posts were getting on my main blog, so it’s been a good move.

My “Busiest Day” stats have been changing all week, although my actual busiest day is the same as it has been for a while. Not a big problem, just an interesting glitch I guess.
